Apologies for not having posted in a while. As some of you know, my wife and I just welcomed Adelaide Sanders to our clan.

As busy as technology related projects are, this one is a great deal more time consuming and requires even higher levels of attention.

Rest assured I'll be returning in February 2010 with some new posts and reflections on technologies I'm playing with while on paternity leave.

Until then, feel free to contact me at jeff dot sanders at dynamicshift dot com.

Thanks --

I'll be speaking on Microsoft StreamInsight CTP3 at the Central Pennsylvania .NET User's Group Code Camp (that's a mouthful) this Saturday, December 5, 2009.

There have been some exciting changes to StreamInsight since the CTP2 release as Charles Young points out in this post, and I'll be covering those as well as providing a general overview of StreamInsight and what it may do for your application environment.

As mentioning the word "cloud" seems to garner attention and drive attendance, I should mention that we will be discussing Event Clouds and Event Streams. Ooooooh.

Look for a webcast of the presentation on this site within the next few weeks.

Hope to see you there.

I wanted to thank the Directors, Officers, and Members of BaltoMSDN for the opportunity to speak last night. We had a great time talking about StreamInsight, and the questions that were posed were really, really great.

Just in case you missed it, it's now been made public. The next release for the BizTalk Server stack will be BizTalk Server 2009 R2.

I wasn't able to make it to PDC this year. Borrowing from Frank La Vigne who is in a similar situation, for me, PDC stands for "Preparing for Delivering Child." Apparently my wife has an "in" with the State Department, and as such, I'm on the No Fly list until "deployment."

That being said, MVP Rachel Appel and the wonderful folks at NotAtPDC have asked me to host this week's festivities. If you're unfamiliar with NotAtPDC, it's a perennial virtual conference coordinated for those who weren't able to make it to PDC this year. It includes industry and INETA speakers and MVPs focusing on real-world scenarios and topics.

Look for more information on the NotAtPDC web site in the coming day.

If you have specific questions, please drop me a line.
